Born and raised in Sydney, my appreciation for ceramics began as a long-standing passion for collecting handmade objects.
In 2025, I transitioned from collector to maker, immersing myself in the craft at a local Sydney studio. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a dedicated practice, leading to the establishment of Rika Ceramics in 2026.
My work follows a simple philosophy: functional objects should be beautiful enough to display and thoughtfully made for everyday living. Each piece is individually thrown and finished by hand in the studio, ensuring no two items are exactly alike.
My goal is to create timeless, minimalist tableware that makes your daily coffee or evening meal feel a little more intentional.
